Hello again!

Me in Bulgaria, my birth country, this summer.
Me in Bulgaria, my birth country, this summer. Behind me is the church at the Assenov fortress – a fortress that existed during the time of the Thracians, was later re-built by the Romans, then by the Bulgarian king Ivan Assen II (hence the name Assenov), and finally destroyed by the Ottoman empire in 1410.

Dear reader,

Welcome back! Or rather thank you for welcoming me back!!! I disappeared for a very long time!!! It wasn’t intentional. Life got busy again, full… many were good things, but there were also other things that caused great pressure and required most of my energy to sustain myself from under them. Pressure is painful, but it isn’t always harmful; on the contrary, it might actually be causing growth (I think it is), and I’m very pleased with that.

I also find another reason why I stopped blogging – I think I got apprehensive about it, because I felt like I’m about to make some very bold statements concerning reality. And I wanted to be sure I have done good research. And I also wasn’t sure what consequences might come from that, and that held me back.

But fear is never a good adviser; it will always lead one the wrong way – to failure and disappointment. So I continue my blog and will endeavor to make my bold statements as honestly and reasonably as I can.
